Jill Karlin served as Chairwoman of Lake Worth Sister City Board

Jill hosted the first Green Conference amongst our sister cities:  Lappareenranta, Finland, Southend-on-Sea, England, St. Mark Haiti, and Sopot, Poland.  We were regaled by two international opera stars from Lappareenranta, at The Palm Beach Playhouse  with the Mayor from that town in the audience.  The tea hosted in The clubhouse of The Lake Worth Golf Course, was produced bytwo members of our community who live in Southend-on-Sea, Rhonda Hewitt and Christine Gostling.  The green conference speeches included a speech by our Sister City Southend-on-Sea  3 Way Split leader Anna Heim.
