The Transitioning of One of My Best Friends, “CHI”, Ernesto Ciccarelli

My dear, dear friend, Ernesto Ciccarelli (Chi), passed on St. Patrick’s Day.  Chi played at every one of my life events for the last almost thirty years.  He was a great friend, and a stellar human.  Friends with legendary Burt Reynolds as young people, Burt said to Chi, “Let’s go to Hollywood and become famous” and Chi said to Burt, “Let’s go to NY and become actors”.  He took his craft seriously.  He devoted his life to raising his son, and his personhood.  His name “Chi” says it all.  He is the coolest “cat”, I ever met.
