This summer Jill Karlin Butler traveled to the UK via Ireland, where during her first visit an opportunity arose for her to made her first presentation to a select group of Kilkenny County Councillors on Ekotecture.
Ekotecture lays out the foundation and definition of sustainable architectural design, through which social and economic sustainability is a bi-product.
Jill has been invited to return to Kilkenny for a further and fuller presentation to Kilkenny County and City Council on Tuesday 17th September 2013.
We look forward to providing feedback, photos and additional notes on this very exciting development in Ireland which encourages innovative approaches to sustainable Urban Design while preserving the integrity of Historic Buildings and culture within the three development zones.
