July 2019 visiting where I grew up, my Mom, my family I took a trip down memory lane. With my friend Melanie we visited The hunniwell estate where I painted those exquisite paintings of orchids. Mrs. Luisa Hunnewell, still alive was there, as was David who is the same man who took care of the orchids I painted forty years ago. We felt useful helping move chairs and resettle the area from an event the night before.
