Mother

I flew to Boston on Saturday, October 22, 2022 to be with my Mom, Lenore Gardner Karlin, 104 years old, in a rehab after a hospital.  My friend, Mel, and I went for breakfast Sunday and a walk with her dog, Syd at The Endicott House, Dedham across route 135, where my Mom lives (and is in rehab) at Newbridge on the Charles. On the marquee there was a reunion for Girls Latin School for the class of 1970.  At the podium I explained my Mom was possibly the oldest living alumni of this oldest girls high school in the world, was just across the street.  They gave me a scarf, a book, a mug and cupcakes to take to Mom.The following day Mom got a visit from a daughter of a fellow alumni.
